Elevations
Hoops for Health

This 2022-23 basketball season, Elevations Credit Union is excited to support Mental Health Partners (MHP) with help from the University of Colorado basketball teams' prowess at the free-throw line.

Elevations will donate $20 to MHP for every free throw made by a CU Buff’s men’s or women’s basketball player this season. And we’re not talking just home games, either. Every free throw all season long is a $20 donation.

Thank you for supporting Mental Health Partners with us

We concluded Hoops for Health with a $30,000 donation to Mental Health Partners! Thank you for cheering on the CU Buffs Basketball teams with us, as every completed free throw got us one step closer to our goal.

If you're interested in donating to MHP, you can still join us!

“Thank you so very, very much for Elevation’s Hoops for Health campaign and for the $30,000 contribution that it generated. It was an amazing demonstration of a collaborative partnership that will ultimately be invested in suicide prevention training, especially to those still struggling with the aftermath of the Marshall Fire.

Your support means so much to MHP, enabling us to move forward with our commitment to the communities we serve in ways that would otherwise not be possible.”

Our goal and how you can help:

Depending on the aim of the University of Colorado men’s and women’s basketball players, Elevations has set its sights on a goal of donating $30,000 to Mental Health Partners (MHP), an organization we value for its commitment to mental health in Boulder and Broomfield counties.

About Mental Health Partners

Mental Health Partners (MHP) has been serving Boulder County residents since 1962. Since then, the organization has expanded, currently with locations in Boulder, Longmont, Broomfield and Lafayette while also sharing locations with primary care physicians in other communities.

MHP has been a key organization in helping people who live in Boulder and Boulder County through their most difficult times. It has played a critical role in helping those affected by the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, the tragic shooting at the Boulder Table Mesa King Soopers in March of 2021 and the Marshall Fire, which swept through south Boulder County later that same year. The Marshall Fire, fueled by 100 mph winds and dry conditions, quickly became the most destructive fire in Colorado history in terms of structures lost. Thousands were evacuated and more than 1,000 homes and businesses were lost.

MHP meets the needs of residents affected by these events by hosting the Outreach Warm Line at 303.545.0852 and responding to email requests at [email protected]. Mental Health Partners also provides a list of resources* for those affected by the fire.

Mental Health Partners strives to provide services to clients of all ages through their core values of empathy, hope, healing environment, wellness, teamwork, partnership and excellence. As access to care remains a constant, widespread struggle for those suffering from mental health issues, MHP has a team of experienced community health workers to provide the care many need.
