There’s no minimum balance requirement for Buff One Banking. All members are required to pay a one-time $5 membership fee and have a Membership Savings Account (also with no minimum balance requirement).

We offer digital banking, so students can access their accounts from anywhere and at any time. Our digital banking platform also includes free account linking, which allows for easy account-to-account transfers. Additionally, we have several on-campus ATMs and an on-campus branch.
Buff One Banking is a checking account designed for CU Boulder students who are currently enrolled. It allows students to use their Buff OneCard Student ID as their debit card at ATMs on campus. Forever Buffs Banking is designed for CU alumni and Buffs fans, featuring a CU-themed debit card and the option to round up purchase transactions for CU Boulder scholarships.
Membership eligibility and one-time $5 membership fee required at account opening.
